Sequel

According to [1] and other sources a sequel to this game is in the works. The sequel is confirmed to have a Society of Light related storyline along with having Sartorius as an in-game opponent, as well as delving at least part way into the Overseas Champions storyline. Its card pool also contains all the sets up to Tactical Evolution, plus at least a few cards from Gladiator's Assault. Originally scheduled to be released in August, unspecified setbacks have pushed its release to sometime in the fourth quarter 2007.

Also, a Playstation 2 version of this game, entitled Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force Evolution, is in the works that will allow USB connectivity with Tag Force 2. Its release date is as yet unknown.
