Introduction to WikiFic

Hello and welcome to WikiFic. This wiki was originally started to be a resource to Yu-Gi-Oh fanfiction writers, who do not seem to have a centralized source of information about the Yu-Gi-Oh series (canon), video games, card games, and so forth. This wiki aims to provide information about the canon series in all its incarnations, as well as essays and any additional information relating to the series or its characters.

Who's In Charge?

Azurite is the creator and owner of this Wiki (and all sites on the seventh-star.net network); if you have any questions or comments, feel free to head to her Discussion page and start a conversation there. Likewise, if you'd like to volunteer to help this Wiki out as more than a contributor, talk to her.

What's Allowed/What's Not

• The Article Content Policy is a good starting point to find out what WikiFic is looking for and how it should be structured in article form.
• For articles about any of the cards that appear (in the TCG, OCG, anime, or manga), check out the Card Article Policy page.
• For images used across this Wiki, be sure to read the Image Policy, especially for any images of cards that may appear in the aforementioned articles.

Because this site aims to be a REFERENCE source, it aims to be as OBJECTIVE as possible. What that means is that if something is not a canonical (and here "canon" can refer to any incarnation of the series, be it anime, manga, video game, etc.) fact or otherwise provable, it should not be included in this Wiki. "Fandom" facts (e.g, the names of shipping pairings, things created and generally accepted in fandom) are welcome, but "fanon" ("facts" made up by members of fandom, to supplement what canon has NOT stated) is not welcome, unless it is CLEARLY marked as being fanon and relating to the topic as a whole (for example, on Shizuka Kawai's page, it might be pertinent to point out the fanon that she serenaded Seto Kaiba to get him to fall in love with her.

Images should be uploaded according to any current policy regarding name formatting. You can find more details on our policy pages as they are defined. They will be linked here at a later date.

Pages/Articles should be created ONLY if you are 100% sure that an article covering that topic (whether as a main subject or a sub-topic) doesn't already exist. Likewise, you must be absolutely sure of ALL spelling and punctuation, especially if the article is part of a large category or series of articles.
