Hi, I'm Azurite, the owner of the seventh-star.net domain, and maintainer of many of the pages hosted on it, including WikiFic. I use the same handle (Azurite) on Fanfiction.net, so you may know me by my fanfiction (which tends to be Azureshipping, Revolutionshipping, or Peachshipping; if you can't tell, I really like Anzu Mazaki (Téa Gardner). On LiveJournal, I go by the_sweet, and I'm usually seen haunting people and trying to get them to sign up here and help us flesh out the encyclopedia.

I decided to do this when I was researching for a fanfic of mine, and I had to go to multiple websites just to get a little bit of information. The Wiki software is great, and it's wonderful that Yu-Gi-Oh and its characters have their own sections on Wikipedia and similar sites, but Yu-Gi-Oh needs its own encyclopedia, the way many other major fandoms have their own resource centers and mega-sites. So WikiFic was born from that. It's not just for fic writers and readers like myself, but for any fan that wants to learn more about the fandom. Obviously, the encyclopedia has a way to go, so please help out!
