Thief King Bakura

The self-proclaimed "Thief King" Bakura is the previous incarnation of Dark Bakura, and the spirit inhabiting the Millennium Ring.

The man calling himself the "king of thieves" invaded Pharaoh Atem's palace. He caused much destruction and mayhem, and even summoned the most powerful of Ka, Diabound in order to bring darkness to the world-- by summoning Zork. He proved to be an incredible match, easily damaging many of the Ka of the six Chosen Priests. Very little is known about the actual Thief King, as the version shown in the final act of the manga and in the final season of the anime was one controlled by Dark Bakura, with all his knowledge and memories of the present-day.
It is known that he witnessed the death of his family, friends, and fellow villagers in the town of Kul Elna when Akunadin created the Millennium Items there, "melting" the bodies and souls of the villagers in a sort of dark alchemy process described in a mysterious ancient tome. The Pharaoh at the time, Akunamkanon, had no idea that the creation of the Millennium Items (which he authorized only because the kingdom was in danger of being invaded) involved the deaths of so many people. When he did find out the truth, he grew sick with grief and later died. This did not satisfy Bakura, who wanted to take revenge against the whole kingdom for the massacre at Kul Elna.

Other Notable Characteristics: Despite his extremely pale hair, Bakura has very tanned Egyptian skin, meaning that his hair color likely comes from his bloodline (family) or perhaps a disease. The argument that Bakura is an 'albino' is incorrect, given his complexion, eye color, and other features. Also, the Thief King possesses a unique scar over his right eye, with two horizontal marks underneath it. The mark seems to be inflicted by some sort of blade, though who inflicted it, when, and why is never revealed in canon. Bakura is still able to see out of that eye.

Signature Duel Monster: Diabound, although the creature is his Ka and not a real Duel Monsters card in the TCG, OCG, Anime, or Manga. He also uses a wide variety of Dark-Attribute and Fiend or Zombie-Type monsters.
Deck theme: Dark, almost always. Many of his monsters are Fiends, Zombies, and other Dark-Attribute monsters.
