For the curious, Atemu and Pharaoh Atemu and all similar variations all redirect to the article associated with this page, Pharaoh Atem. The reason for this is partially explained in the article itself, under the section 'The Great Name Debate.' On WikiFic, you will see both Atemu and Pharaoh Atem; however, we are trying to keep continuity and use ONLY Pharaoh Atem since it is the most linguistically correct pronunciation of the Pharaoh's name, regardless of the known pronunciation of the hieroglyphs used by Kazuki Takahashi in the manga. Also, the dub canon (both the anime and the manga) uses the name "Atem," so in accordance with that and previously stated evidence, that is the name that we will try to primarily use here on WikiFic. All mentions of the Pharaoh's name should be "Atem," and any other references to "Atemu" should be sure to redirect to the proper article. --Azurite 16:07, 29 August 2007 (EDT)
