"She is easily the oldest duelist that appears regularly in the series." Does Grandpa not count or something? Also, although Keith doesn't appear as regularly, he's still older than her... *mutter*

As for an on-topic reply, Grandpa doesn't duel regularly in the series (only twice), and Keith appears even less. Hence, "Mai is easily the OLDEST duelist who appears REGULARLY." If it were a matter of OLDEST DUELIST period, yes, it would be Sugoroku, and OLDEST DUELIST AT DUELIST KINGDOM would be Keith. --Azurite 21:44, 5 September 2007 (EDT)

Honestly? It's a misleading statement. Mai's only what, 24-25? Same as Pegasus. She's a background character. She doesn't appear regularly, and Jiichan's as much of a duelist as she is. Mai has only, what, 3-4 on-screen duels? --Fran 17:30, 7 September 2007 (EDT)

"Despite this, she's a cold and detached person, as seen in Battle City, when she refuses to accept help from or speak to anyone other than Seto Kaiba himself."

When does Mai speak to Kaiba, let alone ONLY speak to Kaiba? Where did that come from?

It says that Mai is 9 years older than them, but if they're second years, wouldn't they be 16?
And Mai has 15 on-screen duels. The main 6 are Jounouchi in DK, Yugi, Jean-Claude Magnum, Malik, Jounouchi in Doma, and Jounouchi in Doma again. The other 9, we don't see all of, but they're still somewhat on-screen: Ryuzaki, Player Killer of Darkness, Jounouchi in the virtual world, Magnum, Pegasus, mask guy, Rush Recklessly guy, Varon, and Rafael. --Darkrunner 18:36, 31 October 2007 (EDT)

I'm taking all of this into consideration. What really needs to be decided upon is a strict format for all characters-- basically, information that all of them have in common, so I can create a template for all the characters. When it comes to objective statements about the characters or their actions, that's subject to argument here in the Discussion pages, so I'm glad people are talking here. However, it is critical that people sign their comments! Like so: Azurite 14:11, 1 November 2007 (EDT)
