Gospel of Truth
From WikiFic
The Gospel of Truth is the Yu-Gi-Oh manga character guide published by Jump Comics, featuring 303 pages of story summaries, character profiles, duel results, and more. The back of the manga also included two special foil promotional cards, Yu-Jyo (Friendship) and Kessoku (Unity).
The first card is a pun of Yuugi Mutou and Katsuya Jounouchi's names, and depicts the two of them shaking hands with determined looks on their faces. The second card reflects one of the major themes of the Yu-Gi-Oh series, and shows "the gang" Yuugi, Otogi, Honda, Anzu, and Jounouchi putting their hands together in a pile. More information on the cards and their effect in the Japanese Original Card Game (OCG) can be found on the card's respective pages.
The Gospel of Truth is considered one of the only sources of canon information that isn't explicitly stated in the manga, or clearly translated over. It also gives information about the characters that is never presented anywhere else, including birth dates, favorite foods, blood type, and more.
The guide is marked for sale at 648 yen (around $7US) and was originally published in first edition format on 11/6/2002.
