Cyndia

Little is known about Cyndia, sometimes called Cecila, Cynthia, or similar variations. She was Pegasus J. Crawford's former fiancée (or in the dub version, his wife, and thusly called Cyndia Crawford]]) who died of an unnamed illness at a young age (approximately 17). It is known that she and Pegasus met as children and became quite smitten with one another, though it apparently went against Cyndia's father's wishes.

At the time, Pegasus was not a game creator or designer; he was an artist. He painted a variety of portraits of Cyndia, using her as a sort of muse. When she died, Pegasus lost his inspiration, and traveled around the world in search of a way to bring Cyndia back to life. His travels led him to Egypt, where he met Shaadii, the mysterious holder of the Millennium Key and the Millennium Scales. Though he wasn't supposed to follow Shaadii, he did and witnessed someone "unworthy" of possessing the Millennium Eye. As a result, he became the next candidate for the Eye, and then became its modern holder for many years. The first vision that he saw with the Millennium Eye was that of Cyndia returning to him, though the vision only lasted for an instant.
